My digital art is where I like to tap into the lighter and brighter sides of things. I like to use my silly drawings to produce a fun and magical sense to art. Starting with a still from Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo (2009) , I wanted to challenge myself in recreating such an infamous frame but incorporate slight stylistic factors and with a muted color scheme that I know and love. I then go on to showcase two characters I created: A germy little fellow with a not so great attitude and a lonely and horrid stuffed rabbit. Lastly, I wanted to change up the style once more, and let you in on one of my secrets: Sharks are my favorite animal ;)
